Started in the mortgage industry with World Savings in 1987 and then moved here in 1989. Prior to entering the mortgage industry, I worked at Price Waterhouse as an auditor in the downtown Los Angeles office and earned my C.P.A. license in 1987. This auditing background gives me a unique ability among mortgage brokers and loan officers to document and package a loan file as to assure the quickest and cleanest loan approval possible. In addition, my tax experience enables me to quickly interpret even the most complex tax returns to determine the allowable income that can be used for qualifying. 1984 graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting.
My primary goal is to obtain the best financing available for a client. This is why I am a mortgage broker for nearly all of the lenders in Southern California rather than a loan officer for just one bank. After interviewing clients to learn their specific needs, I research the market to find the best mortgage for their situation. My secondary goal, especially for first time buyers, is to educate my borrowers on the home buying transaction. I want my clients to know all of the steps in the loan application, approval, and closing processes. Also, my clients are disclosed up-front in writing all of the necessary costs of their transaction, and more importantly, understand all of these costs. Purchase or refinancing a property is one of the most important financial events in a person’s life and should be handled as such. Borrowers are often expected to sign forms and pay costs that they do not understand. I feel people deserve better. They deserve honest and open communication, attention to detail, timeliness, and when necessary, true consulting and guidance. My clients receive all of these and that is why my business is 100% referral based from real estate brokers, accountants, bankers, lawyers, financial advisors, and most importantly, existing clients. “I look forward to working with you.”
